The Outreach to Children Project must support
families in order to support children. Solutions for medicine for grandparents, a car that doesn't run to get Dad to work and no heat in the house are part of the equation of what we do. It's hard for Hispanic students to learn English and become good readers if no one speaks the language at home. Adult English classes must be found for parents so everyone learns together.
Additionally, our volunteers collect over 2 tons of food each year for families. Clothes, new and used, are given freely along with sports equipment and school supplies, musical instruments, health referrals and babysitting. There is something for everyone to contribute: most importantly faith. The message of God's sacrificial love, His offering of forgiveness and a new life in Christ are the center of our mission. We pray with people for health needs, financial needs and freedom from sin through salvation. We hope that you can lend your faith to these needs as well.
But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
